Horse show report! Dressage at Devonwood was a fantastic show — many thanks to for hosting such a great event at his beautiful Devonwood.
All of the horses gave it their all despite being a bit toasty — we celebrated personal high scores, qualifying rides and person achievements all weekend!
and her Hero recieved a personal high score with their first level freestyle and were able to end the weekend qualified in both first level and first level freestyle!mad.mad.madeline was able to take her first tours of Devonwood and successfully pilot her mare through tests in both Terrace and and Memorial rings with nice rides!
Pip and I had a blast in our show debut together and we were able to win all of our classes and walk away with our qualifying scores for Champs!
We had a fantastic weekend and look forward to heading back to Devonwood this fall!

I am WAY beyond proud — these two ladies came ready to go today! They absolutely rocked their tests — Maddie and Nicole’s Tia won her training level test with a 68% and rocked her first level debut with a 65% for a third place finish! Claire and her (and Bea’s) Hero were amazing with a 71% (!!!!!) in her freestyle and a class winning 67% at first level!
Watching them demonstrate wonderful horsemanship and prepare, school, and present their horses to their very best was beyond rewarding! I am so proud of you ladies!

Year End High Point Champion — Maraschino EE (aka Froggie). So proud of Froggie she won this year end high point at her first show out! What a special horse she was to bring along for her first outings. I am excited to watch her continue to grow and develop with her new mom, Lara Schmauser!
