Fifth Annual Ladies Bird Dog Workshop 2025! August 8-10 (New dates this year). Your Instructor is Sharon Potter, Red Branch Kennels, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This event is a fun weekend filled with learning and camaraderie. Lots of one-on-one work on whatever you need to work on, with your dog. Participation is limited to 15 participants with dogs (no limit on auditors).

I love this time of year, when I get hunting pictures of dogs I've bred and/or trained. This is Boone, a training alumni owned by Connor Wilz, and Ella, a pup I bred owned by Jacob Jarosh. They had a successful first hunt of the season. Nice work by all!

SOLD. If you're looking for a great gun dog or hunt test dog, this is Rip. He is two years old, and had had quite a bit of pro training including 7 months with Dave Ward. Handles, runs blinds, steady. Rip is very stylish and fast, and loves water. He has a super friendly personality and loves everybody. Housebroke, crate trained and a really fun dog...just isn't going to get to the field trial level that I need. Send me a PM for more information.

Announcing the 5th Annual Ladies Bird Dog Workshop, August 23-25, 2024, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI !!!
We had a great group last year, lots of learning and fun. The group is capped at twenty ladies with dogs, and last year filled up quickly. Registration form can be sent via PM. Please PM me with any questions. Looking forward to working with another great group of gals this year!!

For anyone thinking of adding a puppy, please be aware of the unscrupulous breeders out there trying to convince you their crossbreds are purebred. They have to lie to AKC to register these dogs. There is no such thing as a purebred silver, charcoal or champagne Lab. Also be aware the dd (dilute) gene that causes this color not only doesn't exist within the Labrador breed, it comes with skin issues. Dilute alopecia is an awful condition and no dog should have to suffer with it.

Anybody looking for a nice young GWP, I have one here who needs a home. He's had some training here, likes his birds and is pointing. 7 months old. He needs a calm home with no small children.
