🐾 Pup of the Week: Zola! 🐾

This week’s spotlight shines on the one and only Zola! 🌟

At not even a year old, Zola has a heart unlike any other. Her smile lights up the field, her energy is absolutely contagious, and her enthusiasm for learning makes every training session a joy to watch.

Zola shows up ready to work, eager to learn, and gives it her all every single time. Watching her confidence grow while keeping that happy, playful spirit is exactly what training is all about.

Keep shining, sweet girl—we’re so proud of you! ❤️🐶

🐾 Pup of the Week: Maggie! 🐾

This week’s spotlight goes to Maggie! 🌟

Watching Maggie learn how to channel her natural energy in a productive way has been incredible. Through structure, clear boundaries, and consistent leadership, she’s developing the skills she needs to make great choices while strengthening her relationship with her handler every step of the way.

Training isn’t about taking away a dog’s personality—it’s about helping them learn how to use their strengths successfully. Maggie has embraced the process, built confidence, and shown tremendous growth in both focus and engagement.

She absolutely crushed it this week, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress she’s making! 💪🐕

Keep up the amazing work, Maggie! Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. ❤️

🐾 Why Training Neutrality Matters 🐾

One of the most important skills a dog can learn is neutrality—the ability to remain calm and focused around distractions. Other dogs, people, wildlife, and exciting environments shouldn’t automatically trigger a reaction.

A neutral dog is more confident, easier to handle in public, and better able to focus on their owner. True socialization isn’t about interacting with everything; it’s about learning to exist comfortably and calmly in the world.

Remember, neutrality doesn’t mean your dog can’t be social—it means they learn when it’s appropriate to engage and when it’s time to simply observe and relax.

A calm dog is a confident dog, and confidence creates freedom. 🐶✨

Peggy and Harry won this years Frist Humanitarian Award given at UCF Lake Nona Hospital in May. It is quite an honor to receive the award though none of us do it for the recognition! Peggy has faithfully served the hospital for over 4 years, was one of the original members of the pack, and over this past year lent her support to the new Bereavement Support group helping to get it off the ground. Way to go Peggy and Harry!!
