We had a blast with and who visited us this weekend. My precious stepdaughter and her sweet friend Jessica were visiting from LA and our zoo did not disappoint in showing off.

Poor little Meeko got a mysterious head wound this past Saturday night. 😿Fighting over the cat wheel, with Mushu, is our guess, but who knows with 13 cats here??? 🙀 Cleaned it, treated it with Antimax, and now he dones the cone, until further notice. It already looks better after one day of treatment and he’s been sleeping like a baby!!! He’s one tough little cookie!!! 🍪

Toulousa loves to play piano with my sweet student Sadie. She does this during every.single.lesson and only with Sadie, none of my other students. It’s so sweet.

Five years ago a neighbor contacted us for advice. The people who lived beside them were such jerks they had an outdoor cat. That’s not an option in our neighborhood as they lived right beside a nature preserve with bobcats, coyotes, alligators and more. This poor girl not only had to survive outside, when they got evicted they moved out and left her behind. 🤬There is a special place for people that bad. When we went to meet her she ran right up to us literally begging for help. She was so sweet and very vocal. We took her home that night and that was it. She fit right in. She is soooo grateful and hates stress. If anyone gets into a hissy fit she immediately breaks it up. She hasn’t been back outside since, her choice. And we love her. And she loves Sadie. 😹
