We specialize in basic obedience training for all dog breeds. We believe that any dog can be trained to learn basic commands with proper training and instruction. I have worked with many breeds from 'toy' sized all the way up to the giant breeds. Working through leaky behaviors can be tricky.

A lot of times, a prong collar or e-collar correction will actually drive certain dogs higher and create even more conflict.

In this scenario, we chose to use a dominant dog collar to remove air and help extinguish the leaky behavior.

The dog clearly understands the down command. The issue is the habit of breaking position to either engage the decoy early or run back to the handler barking.

The goal is simple:
Stay capped in the down, stay mentally clear, and earn the bite.

When the dog breaks position, pressure is applied. The second pressure is released, the handler gives the command “Off,” I apply stimulation simultaneously, and the dog drives back into position.

Clear communication. Clear expectations.
