UNPOPULAR OPINIONS, HARSH WORDS AND UNDERSTATED FEELINGS AHEAD!!
If you don’t want to hear it then move along…
To start , I’m sending out a huge hug and thank you to all my supporters that are understanding and kind… you’ll never understand how much that means to me… because it is you that keeps this business open..
As you all know, a month ago I fell down my steps taking my dog out… tore up my foot pretty good… I’ve been doing my best to keep up while trying to work in a boot..
And I have really seen some of the most inconsiderate , disrespectful and rude behavior from some..
In all honesty, it’s been enough to make me want to close permanently.. I have always done my best to accommodate everyone… that means working on my scheduled days off or when I had other plans, fitting people in when I was already booked …
In return, I’ve gotten last minute cancellations and no shows on days that I was supposed to be closed in the first place… or people asking me why I can’t get thier dog in on Easter Sunday because “what does my foot have anything to do with grooming a dog?”
So after a long and hard conversation with myself.. here’s the scoop.. I’m done with trying to be nice
My business hours are Wednesday through Saturday 8 am- 4 pm .. closed Sunday , Monday and Tuesday unless I state otherwise..
for those that have appts on Sundays, you’re good!!!
No Shows are now an automatic $30 added on to your bill…more than once, you’re out.. find another groomer..
I get that things come up…but if I’m not important enough to let me know that you will not be making it, then I don’t need your business…
And yes I understand people have kids, games, school activities, work priorities… etc… but guess what… I have a life too…
I’m not sorry if this post offends anyone…
If I lose business over it, then that’s the way it goes. But I’m done letting people run all over me…
