Dogs are just incredible!!!

Two Rancho Cucamonga Police Department K-9s are credited with tracking the scent of and locating a vulnerable missing woman who had fallen 200 feet down a steep ravine over the weekend.

K-9 Naji initially tracked the woman's scent, then K-9 Keva continued following it down a nearby horse trail, police said. About half a mile into the search, Keva diverted down a ravine, where deputies heard the woman calling for help.

The Calistoga Police Department is proud to announce the newest (and furriest) member of our enforcement team:
🐾 Officer Whiskers, our first-ever Apprehension & Drug Detection Feline 🐾
After extensive training Officer Whiskers has already demonstrated exceptional skills in:• Suspect intimidation through aggressive hissing• High-speed foot pursuits
• Drug detection, with a 100% alert rate on catnip

During today’s certification test, Officer Whiskers successfully located hidden narcotics aggressively rolled in them, and attempted to arrest the evidence. A flawless performance.

Our hospital has been certified an official “Santa’s E.L.V.E.S.” (Emergency Landing and Veterinary Expert System) location.

In the event that Santa’s reindeer team needs to make an unscheduled Christmas Eve stop for sled repairs, refueling, or veterinary care, staff at this clinic will be available to provide needed assistance and ensure a safe and on-time delivery of Santa’s cargo.
