Beginning next Tuesday and running through the month of December, we will be collecting donations for CATS & Dogs Northeast Volunteer Team! Please stop by any time the library is open to drop off donations. Monetary donations may be given to staff. Ornaments featuring some of their adoptable animals will be hanging on our tree!

We are inundated. This time of year is when we really start feeling the fatigue and are run thin. We have over 40 cats and kittens of all ages as well as 7 dogs of various ages and sizes (including 3 who were on medical hold and almost ready to be up for adoption). We are getting calls daily asking if we can take more. We are purley a volunteer run team. How can you help? We are always accepting donations (monetary, food, litter, etc), we are always looking for volunteers or local foster homes, can't volunteer or donate? No problem. Share our posts! We have some animals who have been with us 2+ years! You read that right. Years. And lastly, we know times are tight, but consider adopting one of our furry friends. We are a local non-profit rescue who helps local animals receive vet care and find their new perfect home.

Boom would like everyone to know he excels at being an indoor dog in the cold. He gets chilly when it's cold out 🥶...he also thinks coats are stupid. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's New England bud. Boom is still waiting for his perfect home! He would love to be your adventure buddy, your snuggle buddy, and your personal entertainment!

Lily is now off to live a life of luxury!

Can you believe this goofy goober is still here?
Boom is an almost 7 year old Standard Bull Terrier. He is about 55lbs of goofy terrier. He has been with us since July and just hasn't found his perfect match.
Boomer is good with kids and people, he loves food and toys, enjoys couches and hikes, he is picky about other animals, their energy and personality matters! He can be neutral with all other dogs on walks but his play/house friends he loves some and just isn't a fan of others. Same with cats. There are 4 cats in his foster home that he is cool/neutral with and then he's been in a home where he did not like those cats. He does have environmental allergies that seem to be seasonal and we learned they are controllable as needed. Boom is neutered, vaccinated, 4dx negative, microchipped, and ready to find someone who would love to add this egg headed character of a dog into their home 🐾
