As we look back on this year, we’re filled with appreciation for the people who make our work meaningful — our teams, our partners, and our family.

Your commitment to care makes a real difference for pets and the people who love them. This season reminds us how much your work matters and how thankful we are for each of you.

Wishing you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, good health, and moments that bring you joy.
Warmly,
The Vets Pets Family

Rolesville Veterinary Hospital has welcomed a new doctor to the Vets Pets family! Dr. Courtney Hamilton is a Raleigh native who graduated from NC State in 2018 with a B.S. in Zoology. She then continued her education at NC State's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in 2023.

Dr. Hamilton has special interests in dermatology, oncology, neurology, and internal medicine. And she can’t wait to meet your pets, including exotics!

𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓, 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔

As we look ahead to 2026, Vets Pets continues to grow as a scrappy cooperative of 37 veterinary hospitals, clinics, and services across North Carolina. From the mountains to the coast, our teams show up for their communities and for one another, delivering exceptional care every day.

We’re proud of a culture built on curiosity, mentorship, and continuous learning. Whether it’s CE, leadership development, or hands-on training, we invest in the people who make this work meaningful.

Vets Pets and Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital are excited to welcome Dr. Alexandra Gean, a highly trained clinician with advanced internships in cardiology, emergency, and critical care from VCA West Los Angeles and UC Davis.

Originally from Southern California and a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, Dr. Gean developed a strong focus on cardiac disease and ultrasonography. She recently relocated to Raleigh to pursue a PhD studying the genetics of heart disease in dogs and cats.

We’re honored to have Dr. Gean join the Vets Pets family.

Sometimes we're reminded why we are so thankful to do what we do. This sweet story comes from Louisburg Veterinary Hospital.

This is such a wonderful story we just had to share it. This gentleman and his wife lost their precious little dog and he has been missing for about 7 months. A groomer recognized the sweet fur baby and called animal control and they checked him for a microchip and they were able to get him back to his owners. Just a wonderful example of how microchips can get your precious babies back home to you!!! They are all so happy their family is complete again!!! ❤️🐶

We want to take a moment to celebrate a decade of wagging tails, comfy purrs, and happy chirps with Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital. What began as a shared passion between two sisters and their love of pets has grown into something even more meaningful. Dr. McLean and her talented team are already looking forward to the next ten years of caring for Hillsborough and the surrounding communities.

Meet the Vets Pets Marketing Team!

Running a veterinary practice is daunting. You’re focused on patients, teams, and care, but your practice still needs to be seen, heard, and trusted. That’s where the Vets Pets Marketing & Communications team comes in.

Would you rather manage websites, social media, advertising, design projects, events, communications, and customer experience yourself? Or leave it to our experts, Tovah Coats, Matt Mumpower, and Lyndsey Munoz.

They work behind the scenes to keep every practice visible, every message consistent, and every story connected across North Carolina, while helping create a seamless experience for clients and teams alike.
