1️⃣ Offer a brief food break (but never restrict water)
2️⃣ Check for possible ingestion of trash, toys, or toxins
3️⃣ Start with a gentle diet like unseasoned boiled chicken and rice

🚨 Call your Points East if:
• Symptoms last more than a day
• There’s blood
• Your pet is lethargic
• Your pet is a puppy, kitten, or senior

Regular trims prevent emergencies, especially for senior pets or those with mobility conditions.

Heatstroke is one of the most urgent summer emergencies we treat.

In high temperatures, pets can go from “warm” to “life-threatening” in minutes.

Watch for:
• Heavy, nonstop panting
• Excessive drooling
• Weakness, wobbling, or collapse
• Bright red gums
• Vomiting or diarrhea

🚨 If you notice any of these, your pet needs immediate emergency care.

• Avoid running, jumping, or furniture climbing
• Monitor for redness, swelling, or discharge
• Never skip medications
