😱🐾 “My dog ate something” is a phrase we hear every day in emergency medicine. Toxic ingestion or foreign body consumption can quickly become life-threatening. Fast action makes a difference.

If your pet eats something questionable:
1️. Contact your veterinarian or Points East immediately
2️. Try to identify what was eaten
3️. Do not induce vomiting unless directed
4️. Keep your pet calm while transporting

Storms, evacuations, and unexpected events may require immediate action. Not just for you, but for your pets too.

Every household should have:
✔ A pet emergency kit
✔ Current ID and microchip information
✔ A copy of medical records
✔ A plan for where to go if evacuation is needed
