Fritz came in to see us while he’s on vacation!
Fritz is a wire hair dachshund, so his grooming needs are a little different than most of the dogs we see everyday.

Wire hair breeds require hand stripping of their coat to maintain proper color and harshness. The best part about wire hair?? If properly maintained, their coats help repel burs, sticks, and some other leaves that might try and stick to them.

*Fritz is in a pet trim and is not quite up to breed standard, but we love him nonetheless!!
