As many of you may be aware, there has been a dramatic shift in the veterinary field over the last few years. While we couldn't be happier that so many pets have found loving homes, high adoption rates coupled with recent closures of other area veterinary clinics have created a significant increase in our call volume.

To combat this, support our team, and still help as many pets in our community as possible, we have partnered with VetTriage—a convenient and affordable after-hours veterinary telehealth platform.

Through VetTriage, a licensed veterinarian will meet with you via video to assess your pet and determine whether they are experiencing a true medical emergency:

If it’s an emergency: VetTriage will immediately coordinate with local emergency facilities or our on-call team to get your pet urgent care.

If it’s not an emergency: The VetTriage doctor will provide safe, home-monitoring guidance and peace of mind until our clinic opens to schedule an appointment.

This partnership saves you unnecessary travel and emergency fees, while allowing our hardworking staff to get essential rest so we can continue delivering the high standard of care you expect during regular business hours.

‼UPDATE: Miss Louise is back home!! 🥰 She was patiently waiting to be let in this morning. Thank you everyone for keeping an eye out for her. ❤❤

Our sweet clinic cat, Louise, has been missing since last night, and our entire Western Veterinary Clinic family is heartbroken. She has become such a special part of our days. She may have gone home with someone.

• Petite female tabby
• Extremely social and affectionate
• May not be wearing a collar (she has a talent for slipping them off!)
• Last seen at Western Veterinary Clinic in Williston
💔 Louise is especially missed by her 3-legged brother, who has been looking for his best friend.

From the very beginning, Cornflake has faced every treatment with incredible strength, courage, and the sweetest personality. He has been an inspiration to our entire team, and we couldn't be happier to celebrate this amazing milestone with him and his family.

Update, the owner has been located. Thank you.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Williston Animal Control brought a deceased German Shorthaired Pointer to our clinic this afternoon after it was struck by a vehicle.
Unfortunately, the dog was not wearing an identification collar and no microchip was found. We are currently caring for the pet while we make every effort to locate its family.
