***COURTESY POST***

Turtle is an approximately 5–6 year old, spayed female up‑to‑date on vaccines, and has always been an indoor cat. She’s affectionate, people‑oriented, and ready for a calm, stable home where she can truly relax. Must be the only cat — she does not tolerate other cats and becomes stressed around them. She hasn’t lived with dogs, but the limited interactions she’s had didn’t bother her. Her ability to cohabitate with a dog is unknown. She’s accustomed to a safe, indoor lifestyle. She’ll thrive in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention and not have to share space with other cats. A patient adopter who can give her time to settle in will be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion. If you have any questions or would like to meet her, let us know.

These gorgeous kittens would really love to go directly from their foster home to their forever home and totally bypass the shelter. Help make their wish happen and add 2 furry members to your home.

Marcus and Maddie are gearing up for their big debut on May 26th. Marcus is a sweet, shy boy who takes his cues from his braver sister, so these two need to stay together. If your home is ready for double the zoomies and double the snuggles, send in an application.

Meet Sasha & Tessa!

These two girls are wildly playful—tiny acrobats who spend their days climbing, jumping, running, and tumbling with each other and every toy they can find. Tessa especially hates being confined and will absolutely tell you about it, but when they have the run of the house, both girls are surprisingly quiet… even if they’re getting into everything.

When it’s time to wind down, their sweetness really comes through. Tessa loves to lick your face, ears, and hair, while Sasha prefers gentle licks on bare arms and may offer the occasional soft love‑nip. Both girls give adorable nose‑to‑nose head boops—just like their mom.

They’re lively, affectionate, and full of charm, ready to bring joy (and a little mischief) to their forever home.

LAPS is looking for dedicated weekly volunteers!

If you’ve been wanting to make a real difference for cats in our community, this is your sign. We’re seeking volunteers who can commit to a weekly shift and help us keep our cats healthy, comfortable, and loved.

Some of the tasks include:
- Scooping and sweeping
- Feeding and watering
- Changing linens
- General cleaning and care

We’re also looking for special volunteers interested in becoming medication givers, especially for Friday mornings. Don’t worry — you’ll work alongside a trainer until you feel completely confident.

While caring for the cats is a lot of work, we strongly encourage volunteers to spend time interacting with them, learning their personalities, and giving them the affection they crave.

And let’s be honest… the perks are pretty great.
Cat cuddles. Lots and lots of cat cuddles.

If you’re ready to join our team and make a difference, follow the link below to our volunteer application!

Thank you for offering your time, once submitted you will be contacted by email with our next orientation date and a request for confirmation.

This gorgeous kitty was found hunkered down near a fence on Wildwood Blvd in Williamsport by a woman walking her dog. The kitty was seen in the same area both yesterday and today and is now safe and indoors.

No microchip. Friendly. Clean.

At this time, we are only looking to locate the owner — or the person responsible if the kitty was abandoned. Cameras in the area are currently being reviewed.

We kindly ask that comments remain focused on credible leads to the owner only, not general suggestions or speculation. Thank you for helping us get this kitty back where it belongs.

Proof of ownership will be required.
