Loki came in to the office today to see if his heartworm treatment worked. This big boy came in so excited giving everyone hugs. He’s now 90lbs! When we got him in may he was 71lbs too skinny for his size.
His foster to adopt parents got the best news he’s heartworm negative! He can now officially play and be a dog! Yay Loki! We’re so excited for you!

We finally are in the home stretch all of our recent intakes have been fixed. So far everyone is up to date on vaccines. Can anyone help us pay off Darcy’s outstanding vet bill. She was spayed, needed her ears flushed, ear meds packed in, cytopoint, and we started her lepto series. She’s doing great. Linda is also doing fantastic. We just need some help getting these vet bills paid off.

Darcy and Linda got spayed today! Yay! No more puppies for them! Thankfully Linda is in good health and just needed a spay and a rabies vaccine.

Darcy needed a sedated ear flush, cytopoint for her itchy skin, and to start her lepto series. Both girls are recovering. We could use help with these expenses.

Everyone meet Pepper!
She’s approximately 1 years old, spayed and up to date on vaccines.
She is a totally cuddle bug that just wants to find her person or family. She is very active and would love an active family.
She is crate trained and working on leash training. She gets along great with other dogs and is good with cats just wants to play with them like they’re a dog.
She has been growing up with kids but doesn’t understand her size.

We’d love to help find her forever home. Please reach out us if you’re interested.

Darcy one of our death row intakes from California is finally ready to be spayed. When she first got to her fosters she started her heat cycle. We wait til after the heat cycle and the body has recovered to spay as it’s much easier on them.
We are running bloodwork before hand to make sure everything will run smoothly. She is 3 years old and based on her ears no one took proper care of this girl. She was used for puppies.
Wednesday Darcy will be spayed, have a sedated ear flush we will check for an ear infection. Do whatever else is needed for this sweet potato.

If you can help towards these expenses we would really appreciate it! Darcy is very sweet and deserves to have the very best treatment.

Closed for intakes until I’m fully functional again. Just got word that I tore the tendons to my rotator cuff. I’m not able to lift my arm. First step is physical therapy hoping to avoid another surgery on my shoulder.

Thank you for understanding. We do have a few lovely pets still available for adoption that have patiently been waiting for their furever homes.

Toby was able to be neutered today. His bloodwork came back phenomenal after his early life scare of trying to die on us multiple times in one week. Needing blood transfusions and multiple hospitalization stays. Toby is finally able to be a dog. If you can help towards his neuter and bloodwork bill today we would greatly appreciate it!

We are down to $200 owed at the vet not including our the credit card bills we still have to pay that’s connected to the rescue. Toby is being neutered tomorrow and we have 2 female dogs Linda and Darcy that need to be spayed soon as well. Anything helps. We know times are tough for everyone. We are trying our best to help how we can while staying above water. We can’t do this without help.

Happy national Black dog day to our beautiful black beauties in the rescue. Linda, Loki, and our longest resident Minnie. Loki is in foster to adopt while going through his heartworm treatment. Linda and Minnie are available for adoption.
