This is exactly how we feel. We can’t keep giving and taking in.
🚨 INTAKE HOLD NOTICE 🚨
Effective immediately, we are on a COMPLETE intake hold for the foreseeable future.
PLEASE do not tag us or contact us to take in any animals — we CANNOT.
💔 We are completely overwhelmed.
We have no space. We have next to no donations.
Adoptions are at an all-time low. Foster offers are nearly nonexistent.
We are drowning.
Right now, our priority is caring for the dogs already in our rescue, and that alone is a massive struggle. Many need medical care, including surgeries we can’t afford. We still haven’t raised nearly enough for Coconut’s palate surgery. Dogs needing routine spay/neuter have to wait. We are behind on vet bills and begging for donations — with little to no response.
To be blunt:
We have nothing left to give.
This rescue is at a breaking point.
People are returning dogs. Some adopters aren’t paying adoption fees — and when that happens, other dogs go without medical care. We were asked by a breeder to take in six dogs yesterday, and we had to say no. That’s the reality now.
Unless things change drastically — financially and with community support — this is the end of the road for our rescue.
We will continue caring for the dogs we have, doing everything we can to get them adopted, but we are no longer accepting any new dogs under any circumstances.
I am tired of crying, tired of the stress and the sorrow. I just can’t go on anymore. Everyone wants us to save dogs but reality, in this economy no one wants to provide the funds we need to do so.
🙏 Please consider donating, fostering, or sharing our adoptable dogs.
We need your help to get the incredible dogs we have in our care into their forever homes.
Thank you to those who have stood by us. We truly wish things were different.🥺
