I am excited we have one keeper that is colored! It feels like all our keepers have been white recently. Presenting our Black otter buck out of Fisher's Rabbitry Print (blue buck) and Georgia’s LA1 (black otter doe.)

The fur coming in seems pretty promising on these juniors.

The first white is young buck and the second one is pretty young jr doe from the opal program.

One of my favorite part about raising rex rabbits is piecing together my toplines.

Here is a junior black otter that I thought would get a table top affect near his peak. I took some pictures and then was trying to analyze the fault to see if I could isolate what was good and bad about the rabbit.

I’ve found sometimes rabbits with obvious topline faults can sometimes be easier to correct if it’s only one or two spots that need work and you have right rabbit to compliment.

I marked in black the areas that need work. This rabbit has a really nice the rise in the shoulder and is very smooth. Next I would go and check to see if I have rabbit that would correct the parts I shaded in black.

King Charles is a sweet little Lionhead buck we sold to swamp bunnies and he won two Best of Breeds in Youth A and Youth B and BOS in Youth C today! We can’t wait to see how he continues to mature and show!

We have a pretty small Lionhead program but try out best sell competitive rabbits to others.

I always take a summer picture of our main herd buck that built the barn here. Everything is related to TA now. Happy 4th birthday to Pearl River’s TA! Not the best lighting and maybe this year I will make something that looks like him. But he is our favorite buck around here still.

Bucks... Opal, black otters, and white Rex bucks being held back to eventually become herd bucks for me or someone else. We kept one buck from all litters except one in the late spring litters.

I still have this deep doe available with a really nice hq. With such a nice hq she could really compliment a lot of bucks. Nice full to the table doe and deep doe.

Pulled this doe out on Sunday. She has come into coat now and she is pregnant due before the next show. So I guess she won’t make the show table. 😂 But that’s okay she should make some beautiful babies.
