💜🐾 Happy Sweet 16 to the little pup who started it all! 🐾💜
On October 31, 2010, a very special little girl was born. Little did I know just how much that tiny bundle of fur would change my life. 🥹
Today, my sweet Snookie turns 16 years old! 🎂🎉
For those of you who don't know, Snookie is so much more than just my dog. She is the reason I started this incredible journey into grooming, and in so many ways, she's the reason Ruff To Fluff Grooming exists today.
Long before I ever picked up a pair of shears professionally, there was Snookie. My very first model, my most patient little guinea pig, and the girl who has proudly (and sometimes questionably 🤣) sported just about every haircut imaginable!
From experimenting with different styles to practicing new techniques, she has been right there through it all. Every haircut, every lesson, every little improvement. She helped me discover a passion that would eventually become my career, my business, and such a huge part of who I am today.
For 16 years, Snookie has been my constant. She's been beside me through some of the happiest moments of my life and some of the hardest. She's helped me grow not only as a groomer and business owner, but as a person. Our bond goes goes so much deeper than grooming. This little dog has given me more than I could ever put into words. Not only have you touched my soul and warmed my heart, but you have given me the opportunity to spread the love you've shown me to so many other pups for many years to come.
It's hard to explain just how much of your heart can belong to one tiny little soul. But if you've ever loved a dog like this, you understand. 💜
When I look at Ruff To Fluff today, I see so much more than a grooming salon. I see a dream that started with a little pup named Snookie, a pair of grooming shears, and a whole lot of love.
Thank you for 16 years of love, loyalty, laughter, lessons, and memories. Thank you for being my first grooming model, my little shadow, my comfort, and one of the greatest blessings of my life.
I wish I could slow down time and keep you by my side forever. But today, we're celebrating every single moment we've been lucky enough to share.
Before there was Ruff To Fluff, there was you. And there will always be a little piece of you in everything this business becomes. 🐾💜
I love you more than words could ever express. I will forever be grateful that you are the one who started it all.
