Hi! I’m Zorro!

I’ve heard New Year’s is right around the corner, and I would love nothing more than to ring it in with you!

I’m a three-year-old German Shepherd who’s been spending time with the amazing staff and volunteers at the shelter. Thanks to them, I’ve been able to show just how much love I have to give. I can be a little shy with new experiences at first, but with kindness, patience, and gentle guidance, I truly shine.

Chopper’s heart is breaking in the shelter. 💔 This 3-year-old Aruban Cunucu was surrendered to us a couple of months ago, and life behind kennel doors has been so hard on him. He’s a sensitive, nervous boy who just doesn’t understand why he lost the only home he knew. The loud, busy shelter environment is overwhelming, and every day we see the stress wearing on him more and more.

What Chopper needs most is someone with patience and compassion—a calm, quiet home where he can finally breathe and start to feel safe again. Whether through adoption or foster, you could be the one to show him that gentle hands and soft voices still exist, and that love hasn’t given up on him. 🐾

Chopper may be too nervous right now for us to know how he feels about other dogs, but what we do know is that he desperately needs someone to take a chance on him before the shelter life breaks him further. Please, help us give Chopper the safe space he’s longing for
