🐰🐐 Come Support Ava & Gwen at the Carroll County 4-H Livestock Sale! 🐐🐰

We’re so proud of all the hard work Ava (age 9) and Gwen (age 14) have put into their 4-H livestock projects this year! Both girls raised two market goats and two rabbit meat pens—and they’ve learned so much along the way.

🐇 Ava is in her 3rd year and especially enjoyed working with her New Zealand rabbits and raising meat pens.

🐐 Gwen is in her 7th year and has a true passion for goat showmanship—she’s worked hard training and preparing her animals for the show ring.

👉 They’ll each be selling one of their market goats at the Carroll County 4-H Livestock Sale on Friday, August 1st.
If either of their rabbit meat pens win Grand or Reserve Champion, those will be sold as well.

📍 Location: Carroll County Ag Center (700 Agricultural Center Dr, Westminster, MD 21157)
🧺 Buyer Picnic: 4–6 p.m.
🔔 Sale Starts: 5 p.m.
– Goats sell in Ring B (Shipley Tent)
– Meat pens (if qualified) sell around 8 p.m. in Ring A (Shipley Arena)

Full of Grace's Manatee - Blue Holicer Doe (1yr, 8 mo) Looking to join someone else's breeding program.

Her barn name is Petal, and she's an excellent mom! She's had two litters for us and even fostered a few Rex babies. Unfortunately, she's a little hutch stained at the moment, but her new coat is starting to come in. She's a good girl and has been a wonderful start for Emerson. Emerson has just decided to keep two of her daughters, and due to limited cage space, is looking to move this girl along.

PomPom & Petal were Emerson's first breeding pair, and they've created some beautiful babies for her! We'd love to move them along to someone else who would like to get started in Blue Holicers. Both have been handled quite a bit by Emerson (age 7), so they're not too spicy like some holicers can be 🥰.

Emmy has a proven breeding pair of Blue Holicers looking to join another barn. They’ve both been great producers and were a wonderful foundation for her! She’s decided to keep their offspring and move the pair along so she can continue growing her program.

Also available: four 12-week-old bucks from the same line—healthy, growing well, and showing promising traits.

I’ll post photos next time I’m in the barn, but feel free to message if you’re interested! I’m happy to send pedigrees and share more info.
