🇺🇸 Join Us for the 72nd Annual 4th of July Parade in West Union! 🇺🇸

The West Union Lions Club invites everyone to come celebrate the 249th birthday of America with a spectacular community parade on Friday, July 4th, 2025!

This year’s Grand Marshal will be none other than President John Adams, portrayed by local historian and high school social studies teacher John Robinson, as we honor our nation's history and our county’s namesake in a fun and patriotic celebration.

📍 Line-up begins at 9:00 AM on North Cherry Street in West Union (near the Old Wayside Inn)
🚶‍♂️ Parade steps off at 10:00 AM
✅ No sign-up required — line-up will be based on arrival!

🎉 We welcome all local businesses, civic organizations, youth organizations, 4-H Clubs, FFAs, school clubs, churches, veterans' groups, politicians, and more to join us in the parade! Individuals, antique cars, tractors, and other unique entries are also encouraged to participate — if you can decorate it and bring it down the street, bring it!

Whether you're walking, riding, or waving from a float — we want YOU to be part of the celebration!
