Keep your pets safe during extreme temperatures!

With the heat index soaring this week, it's important to protect your furry family members from heat-related illnesses. Here are a few quick tips to keep them cool and safe:

🐾 NEVER leave pets in a parked car – even for a minute.

🐾 Limit outdoor time, especially midday. Early morning or evening walks are best. Check pavement temperatures before going on a walk.

🐾 Provide plenty of fresh water and shade if your pet is outdoors.

🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse.
