🐾Are you looking for a therapy dog that is on the bigger side? From personal experience and a mom of two I can tell you that my now 3 year old has never wanted to have any contact with all our Havanese’s (since they are significantly smaller) however she is all about our bigger dogs!
An F1BB standard goldendoodle is a good candidate for a therapy dog due to its traits from the Golden Retriever and Poodle, including intelligence, gentleness, and a desire to please. These dogs can be a great source of comfort and support, are typically social and bond deeply with people, and are well-suited for roles in hospitals, schools, or nursing homes. Proper training and socialization are essential to develop their potential as a therapy dog.🐾
