Furgiven Animal Sanctuary (“FAS”) is a nonprofit, no-kill organization that is dedicated to creating second, second-chance opportunities for overlooked dogs. Our focus lies in partnering with public shelters to prevent the euthanasia of dogs and local no-kill shelters by transitioning their long-term, left-behind dogs to a sanctuary where they can be a priority regardless of age, breed, or ease of

placement. At FAS, we believe that providing a more intimate, individual atmosphere for dogs in these specific circumstances increases their chances of finding forever homes while promoting the animal-human bond within our community of the Greater Midsouth & Tri-State area. In addition to being a sanctuary for dogs overlooked, FAS assists (through scheduled events) with free or discounted veterinary services, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and training support services for current or future pet owners and advocates. Our comprehensive adoption process and support services promote thoughtful, healthy relationships among animals and adopters and offer lifetime support to our residents. Animals in our care are spayed/neutered and receive all necessary treatments, vaccinations, and veterinary care for the duration of their time with us, regardless of adoption status.

HOW WE ARE FEELING 🧡💙

We are still smiling ear to ear from Saturday night’s LIVE with . With Jordan’s Way being super generous and extending our fundraiser until this Saturday, we need your help to close the gap on our $15,000 goal. We have roughly $3650 left to raise to hit that total.

$3650 is right around what an MRI/neurology visit to Mississippi State costs us, for one of our wheelies - like Cheeto who is pictured here!

3 hour LIVE fundraiser with Jordan's Way - some of the highlights of the dogs enjoying Howard's Donuts West Memphis!

Here's the big news. Jordan's Way has left our fundraiser open and given us SIX more days left to reach our $15,000 goal. We have right around $11,250 raised so far, leaving us with $3750 left to raise. We have seen our community pull together to support us, and we're pushing hard to see this through to the very end.

$3750 is roughly the general cost for us to take one of our dogs to Mississippi State University to be seen by the neurology team and undergo an MRI. It's huge for us and our dogs. Please help us finish this off on the strongest paw we can!

Our largest donor match of the evening was from none other than an incorporation created from the adoption of a small, one pound, deaf-blind little puppy named Piglet.
