🐾 Hello, I’m Reynolds! 🐾

On August 4, 2026, I was dumped near the railroad tracks on Rainer Road. I was only about 4½ months old—very thin, terribly hungry, and covered in fleas and ticks. I had no idea where I was or why the person I trusted had driven away without me.

Thankfully, someone cared enough to call Animal Control. When the officer arrived with Vienna sausages, I was so hungry and relieved that I nearly leapt into the vehicle!

At the shelter, I was immediately vaccinated and weighed just 18 pounds, far too little for a medium-to-large-breed puppy. Since then, I have gained some much-needed weight, discovered how much fun it is to play, and learned that there are kind people in this world.

Despite everything that happened to me, I’m a playful, grateful puppy with so much love to give. Someone saved my life by making one phone call—perhaps the next call will be from the family ready to give me the safe, loving home I deserve.

Longest Puppy Resident: Meet Monica

Hi, everyone! My name is Monica, and I arrived on May 15, 2026, as a single little puppy with no home and no vaccines—because I was still too young to begin them.

I was moved into a foster home, where I grew into a wonderful companion. Before long, Remy joined me; later, Domino and Elleigh arrived too. Now we all run, play, and enjoy life together!

I am crate trained, housebroken, and on a regular feeding schedule. I may be another brindle-patterned girl, but my sweet, loving personality makes me truly special.

If you are looking for a companion for yourself—or a friend for another dog in the family—come by and give me a chance. I promise I will not be disappointed.

It’s touch and go for Hollis tonight…
His body temperature is low, as is his hematocrit… we need his body to produce more red blood cells in order to deliver oxygen to all his vital organs…
Parasites have literally sucked the life out of him…
Hollis has everything on board to help him: nutritious food, all the best medications, fresh water, warm towels and blankets….
Now we wait…
His brother, Herschel, is doing a little bit better, but he’s not out of the woods…
Both boys are in the office..we turned the heat on to warm their little fragile bodies….
We know the office will be invaded by fleas and ticks tomorrow, but I bet we can find an exterminator to help…
The goal is to get them through the night…
