How has this perfect girl spent over a month in the shelter?! 😢 Fiona is officially our longest resident at West Jordan Animal Services, and we’d love nothing more than to see her in a home before the weekend.

Fiona is a gorgeous 2-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s pure joy wrapped in fur—whether she’s proudly collecting toys, making instant best friends with other dogs, or showing off her hilarious kangaroo hops. She’s also a total ham who will flop over the second you walk in for belly rubs and love.

Behind all her silliness, though, is a gentle soul who just wants a family of her own. Fiona is the perfect mix of playful companion and snuggly couch buddy—the kind of dog who will make you laugh every day and remind you what unconditional love feels like.

You can meet Fiona at West Jordan Animal Services (5982 West, New Bingham Hwy, West Jordan, UT 84084). The shelter is open Monday–Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM. Fiona has waited long enough—let’s make sure this amazing girl doesn’t spend another weekend in a kennel.

Meet Loko! This 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a bit of husky is as sweet as they come. Loko is a gentle soul who just wants to be your best friend and share life’s adventures with you.

He does great with dogs big and small, though if another pup gets a little too bouncy, his husky side might chime in with a playful “warning sound” to remind them of his space. He’s never rough—just polite! Loko loves his toys, enjoys being around people, and has the kind of calm, loyal personality that will make him a wonderful companion. 💙

Who doesn’t love Betty White?! This sweet senior lady has been waiting at West Jordan Animal Services for over a month, hoping for her happily ever after. At 5 years old, Betty White has plenty of love left to give. She’s gentle, friendly with other dogs, and absolutely adores her treats.

It’s clear she’s been through a lot—she likely had many litters of puppies before being abandoned. But just like her namesake, Betty White is full of charm, resilience, and a heart of pure gold. She has the kind of warmth that makes everyone around her smile, and she’s ready to brighten the home of whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.

Betty’s adoption fee is $95, which includes her spay. You can meet this golden girl at West Jordan Animal Services, located at 5982 West, New Bingham Hwy in West Jordan, Utah. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

💜 Meet Birdie! 💜
At just 15 weeks old, this lab mix is the sweetest, gentlest pup you’ll ever meet. She gets her silly zoomies in short bursts (about 4 seconds, tops) and then just wants to follow you around like your biggest fan. Birdie has the most precious, soulful eyes—she’ll look at you like you’re the only person in the world, and it’s enough to melt anyone’s heart.

She would love nothing more than to be someone’s cuddle buddy on the couch or an adventure pal by your side. Birdie doesn’t know many commands yet, but she’s eager to please and ready to learn with her forever family. Whoever takes her home is getting the best mix of snuggles, sweetness, and puppy goofiness.

Meet Striker – our 3-year-old Lab mix with a huge personality and an even bigger sense of humor! 🐾 This goofy boy is always on the go and loves to run, whether it’s running with you in the yard or just zooming around for fun.
Toys? He thinks they’re great… for about a minute before he’s off to the next adventure. Striker has a short attention span, but he makes up for it with his silly charm and endless energy.

This 2-year-old pittie mix is equal parts sweetheart and goofball. Fiona’s specialties include toy collecting, making other dogs her BFFs, and hopping like a kangaroo—so she’ll need a tall fence to keep her safe during her “high jump practice.”

She’s already spayed, so she’s ready to leap straight into her forever family’s arms. Fiona’s silly personality and loving nature make her the perfect mix of playmate and cuddle buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh daily, shower you with love, and maybe try out for the backyard Olympics—Fiona is your girl! 🐾

She’s a Great Pyrenees with an even greater heart—soft, fluffy, and 100% convinced she’s a lap dog (your chiropractor may disagree). Maggie loves people, adores other dogs, and has perfected the art of looking majestic while simultaneously being a goofball.

⚡️ Meet Zeus ⚡️ He may not be the god of gods, but he’s definitely the master of sass. This 6-year-old Siberian Husky isn’t shy about talking back if you want to have a chat with him. He’s a pro at sit, lay, and his favorite trick to show off — shake! Zeus gets along well with other dogs and lives for playtime, especially a good game of fetch. Zeus is a big goofball and is looking for someone to enjoy his fun sassy personality! If you are interested in meeting him, call or visit the shelter anytime we are open!
