It’s heartbreaking to announce the passing of our sweet boy, K9 Cole. Cole was a model Search Dog. He brightened everyone on our team and set a standard for how we all want our dogs to work. He had multiple deployments. Beyond being a Search Dog, he was our handler’s partner, family, and a core part of our team . Cole was special, sweet, and just a damn good dog. Writing a post about all he’s achieved wouldn’t come close to the impact he’s had on everyone he ever let pet him. This is our team’s page, but as I sit here trying to write something professional and meaningful, I realize there isn’t one. Time with these dogs is precious, and you can’t imagine what that dreadful day will be like. Saying your goodbyes and giving those last pets is heartbreaking. Cole will be missed, his handler Roxanne gave him an amazing life and loved him dearly.
