🌿🐣 It’s Baby Wildlife Season! 🦌🌿
During this time of year, you may start seeing baby wildlife out and about — especially fledgling birds and young fawns. While it may look like they are alone, most of the time their parents are nearby keeping watch. 💛
🐦 Fledgling birds often leave the nest before they can fully fly. This is a normal part of learning, and mom and dad are usually close by feeding and protecting them while they practice!
🦌 You may also spot a fawn resting quietly in your yard or another peaceful area. Mother deer intentionally leave their babies in safe spaces while they search for food during the day — and they DO come back for them.
Please remember:
❌ Do not touch or move baby wildlife
❌ Do not assume they are abandoned
✅ Observe from a distance and give them space
The best thing we can do for wild babies is let their parents care for them naturally. 💚
