Here are some tips to get our feline friends to drink water and have more moisture in their diets! It's very important, so hopefully these ideas will help if you have a cat at home that doesn't drink a lot of water.

Pilling your cat tips: 1. Your first attempt is your best attempt. Cats learn quickly and are usually much less cooperative as times goes on.
2. Move slowly. Harsh movements scare your cat and they are more likely to lash out. (Except when placing the tablet in their mouth, which needs to be quick).
3. Stay calm. If you get nervous an hour before it’s time to tablet your cat, so will they.
4. Give your cat a treat as a reward afterwards.
5. Wrap your cat in a blanket and have another person to help.

The nose pad of each cat has ridges in a unique pattern not unlike a person's fingerprints! Gotta love those little noses of theirs!

Heads up for next week everyone! To try and make things go quickly and smoothly while painting is being done we are going to have the lobby and exam rooms closed for a little bit. We will also have a reminder sign on our doors but please call us when you arrive for check in or pick ups. Thank you for everyone's help while we get some much needed paint updates done! ☺️
