Most of us know about this bug, the flea. What many don't know is how dangerous they can be for our pets. They feed off the blood of our pets and some (especially for young, old or ones with pre-existing health conditions) can cause them to become anemic. This often has become life threatening if not treated. Not only can they cause anemia, when your pet grooms themselves, some get ingested and can pass along tape worms. And, if your pet is allergic to fleas, their bites can cause them to get flea allergy dermatitis. Do know that not all pets are allergic to them, so you won't always see your pet scratching if they have them. Prevention is key in keeping our pets safe. No one wants an infestation on their pet or in their homes because it will take 3 months or more to make sure the life cycle of the fleas are killed off. And who wants to worry about fleas on their pets and in there homes anyways? We all have enough to worry about and fleas don't have to be on that list. There are so many options out there to prevent this bug from causing so much harm. Give us a call, we're here to help.
