Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it is a day of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance for the heroes who served our country and never returned home.

Texas heat can sneak up on our pups faster than we realize ☀️🐾

Whether you’re heading out for walks, market days, backyard playtime, or summer adventures, it’s important to know the warning signs of overheating in dogs 💛

A few simple precautions can go a long way:
💧 Bring fresh water
🌳 Take shady breaks
🐾 Avoid hot pavement
☀️ Walk earlier or later in the day

If your dog ever shows severe symptoms like vomiting, disorientation, or collapse, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Lexie personally recommends water breaks, snack breaks, and dramatic AC naps 😂

Stay safe out there and keep those tails wagging this summer 🐶☀️
