Every dog leaves pawprints on our hearts—but some help shape the very path we follow. 🌈🐾

Before there was Scavy’s Dog Treats, there were Diamond, Libby, Duke, and Kianni. Diamond was the beginning of our owner Courtney’s lifelong love for dogs. She joined Courtney’s family before Courtney was even born and remained by her side throughout her earliest years.

Scavy’s Dog Treats may have been inspired by Lexie, but it was built upon a love for dogs that began many years before her. Today, we lovingly remember these four precious souls—and all the beloved pets waiting for us across the Rainbow Bridge. 🤍

A cute package may catch your eye, but the ingredient label tells the real story! Before choosing a treat, take a moment to check what’s actually inside.

Pay special attention to xylitol, which is highly toxic to dogs and may be found in certain sugar-free foods made for people. Added sugars, artificial colors and unclear ingredient names are also worth noticing.

I enjoy football, but I think I love college football even more—especially when there’s a beautiful dog mascot involved!

I’m a big fan of Texas A&M’s mascot, Reveille. She is so pretty, and I love reading about the history behind the tradition and learning about all the special pups who proudly served as Reveille before her. ❤️

🎂🐾 TWO REASONS TO CELEBRATE! 🐾🎂

Today, I’m celebrating my birthday—and I realized that I never gave Scavy’s Dog Treats the proper 4-year anniversary celebration it deserved back in April. So, naturally, we’re combining the celebrations! 🎉💙

What began in April 2022 with one snack-loving rescue dog named Lexie—and my desire to make her wholesome homemade treats—has grown into four wonderful years of baking, learning, meeting amazing dog lovers, attending markets, and treating pups throughout our community. 🦴

Running this small business has helped me grow in confidence and taught me so much. None of it would be possible without my Chief Taste Tester, my family, our wonderful customers, and everyone who has supported, shared, purchased, encouraged, or simply cheered us on along the way.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for helping this little dream continue to grow. Here’s to another trip around the sun for me—and many more tail-wagging years for Scavy’s Dog Treats! 🥳🐶
