Biskit (Penny)’s success story! Adopted 6/17/25. Shared by her mom.
Biskit has been home for 6 months, and she has gotten big! I did not 100% want another dog, but we have an aging senior and wanted to ease that transition for our daughter. I was uncertain of our decision through the potty training and chewing phase, but she quickly made her place into everyone’s hearts, especially mine. She has been a comfort to me, and a bundle of energetic sunshine through the loss of a family member. She enjoys playing rough but is gentle with our children. She hates baths and does NOT like to be disturbed once bedtime rolls around (we joke that she is so dramatic). She has her pick of the beds in our home, and rests wherever she feels like it. She enjoys treats, car rides, tennis balls, and destroying toys pretty much as soon as she gets them. Family members comment on her sweet and loving disposition. She enjoys every minute with me while I work from home, and waits patiently for head rubs and the occasional lunch scraps. She has brought out a bit of energy in our senior, and plays with all of the kids. She guards my daughter fiercely as she sleeps, and stays alert for intruders. Adopting our little pound puppy has been the absolute best decision, and we just adore her. All she asks for is love, and gives so much of it in return!
I hope plenty of fur babies find a furever home this Christmas. A best friend is the ultimate gift🩷
