Happy Hump Day it’s time to SAVE THE DATE!!!

In less than a month our annual Spay-Ghetti fundraiser is here!! 🎉

Please help to support our cause & everything we do, including (but not limited to) our spay & neuter programs and Saving Our Shelter!!

Our team has been working hard & gathering donations to make sure this event will be a success! You’re not gonna want to miss it!

In order to make room for the wonderful new children’s carts by the exit at Holiday we wanted to let everyone know that the shelter board has been Moved to the entrance over by Starbucks! Shoutout to both Mekana & Connor for being so accommodating & helpful & for supporting our adoption efforts! 👏🏻

Also if you hadn’t heard, the shelter has 8 new puppies that will be available late next week!😱🐶 Please see the updated board below OR stop in and see the cuties for yourself at 12 when Trinity County Animal Shelter opens!

Good afternoon!! ☀️

While we initially rolled out the Sponsor-A-Spay program for businesses, we have now extended it to include memorials. If you are missing that special someone this is a great way to have them immortalized forever AND help a shelter stray get adopted! Please reach out to us if you need further information on this wonderful new addition to our program.

For the month of June, we are remembering Joyce Wagner. A retired Hayfork school teacher, who was an animal lover and could often be found in long term care homes with her companion dog spreading joy. She was also a supporter of TASA, whether it was through monetary donations or a bake sale, you could always count on her.

Joyce, you will be forever loved & missed by all who knew you 💖

As the staff at the Trinity County Animal Shelter has their hands full currently, we would like to give out a Thank You on their behalf to one of their rescue partners for helping them out with a tight situation they had recently!

As some of you may or may not know, the shelter had a sewage issue over a week ago which is about as much fun as you were probably imagining as soon as you read “sewage issue.” Due to this, the staff had to do a lot of adapting and improvising to make the best of a (dare we say) not so wonderful situation in already cramped quarters. As always, they reached out, but this time one of the recues came through and agreed to take several puppies and several cats, which made things a lot easier for the already pushed to the limits staff. Big thank you to Sacramento SPCA!!

We also want to say Thank You to Jeff Butler for doing the transporting. We appreciate you and everything you do for the animals!

We are all hopeful that the issue has been resolved, so keep the shelter staff in your thoughts while they work extra hard to get things back to normal, and if you want to also help them out, there’s still plenty of puppies/dogs/cats/and kittens left to pick from!! They are open T/T/F/S 12-4.
