Meet Venus! This shy girl is the sister of our Athena and came in a few days after Athena but has been adjusting to the shelter life. She is a female, shepherd type, young adult. Although shy, she is great once she really warms up to you. This gal will need an adopter committed to helping her adjust to a new life. Venus seems to really like other dogs and they make her much more comfortable and open. She defers to her sisters more dominant personality and seems to prefer a backseat to the other dog. If you are considering adding to your family come meet her and our other adoptable dogs. The shelter is open T, Th, F, Sa from 12-4.

We would like to reintroduce Buster! This sweet youngster is looking for his forever home. He came to us with his sister who was adopted but he is still waiting. Buster is a male and we believe him to be a hound mix type, about 7 months old. Buster is the perfect age for working into almost any household! He was exposed to livestock from chickens all the way up to horses but did not have free access to them. If you are thinking of adding to your family, please come meet him. The shelter is open T, Th, F, Sa from 12-4 and appointments for other days may be available.

We would like to reintroduce Blake! He is now our longest resident at the shelter. Blake is a young adult male who came into the shelter as a stray and has been unclaimed. We believe he may be a Lab/Husky type who is about a year old. He did not react to kittens who did not run but he is reported to not be livestock friendly. He has been ok fence to fence with other dogs at the shelter and gets along great with other females and some males. If you are interested in adoption please come down to meet him. We are open T, Th, F, Sa from 12-4
