Our Open House is coming up November 7, and we’re excited to give you a closer look at life at Vanhoozer Farm!

Here’s a little preview of what goes into keeping the farm running each day. At the Open House, we’ll take you beyond the barn tour and show you some of the routines, systems, and day-to-day care that happen behind the scenes for our horses.

Come for a tour or stay and spend the afternoon with us. We’ll have food, yard games, and plenty of time to explore the farm, meet our team, and learn more about boarding and training at Vanhoozer.

We currently have THREE stalls with overnight turnout available in Weatherford, TX!

Stall board includes:
• Overnight turnout
• Feeding and watering twice daily
• Stall cleaning
• Hay and grain provided

Training and riding lessons are available on-site through Gabby Dobbs Horsemanship for Vanhoozer Farm boarders.

WHAT’S NEW AT VANHOOZ?

We’ve had lots of new faces joining us lately, which means it was time for a little more room! Our newest loafing shed is officially up and ready to give our horses a comfortable place to get out of the Texas sun and weather while enjoying their daily turnout.

We’re excited to keep making improvements around the farm as we grow — and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

NOW HIRING — WEEKEND BARN HELP

Vanhoozer Farm is looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join us on Saturdays & Sundays!

⏰ Approximate Hours:
• Mornings: 7–10 AM
• Evenings: 5–7 PM
Hours can be somewhat flexible.

Duties include feeding horses, cleaning stalls, filling waters, and general barn chores.

This would be a great job for a high school student, college student, or anyone looking to make some extra weekend cash. Horse experience is helpful, but reliability and a willingness to learn are most important!
