We hope this message finds you well! As we strive to provide the best grooming services while ensuring the well-being of both our furry friends and ourselves, we have introduced some new rules and requirements that will take effect immediately. We appreciate your understanding as we accommodate everyone's schedules.
1. **Flea and Tick Policy:**
There will now be an additional charge of **$25 per dog** for first-time flea and tick treatments. If a dog returns for a second appointment with fleas or ticks, they will be sent home immediately, and you will be charged for the grooming service along with the flea/tick fee. Proof of monthly prevention (as advised by your vet or in pill form) will be required to book future appointments.
2. **Dematting Services:**
We will no longer be offering dematting services. To maintain your dog’s coat, we recommend spending at least **10 minutes a week** brushing them between visits. If you’re unable to do so, please consider bringing your dog in sooner for regular bathing and brushing sessions.
3. **Appointment Prebooking:**
To better serve all our clients and ensure I have time for myself, all appointments must be prebooked. I am currently fully booked until the end of October and 90% booked for the holiday season. I will be allowing some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate your needs, and I will share a set schedule with all clients in the new year.
4. **Grooming Schedule:**
Each dog will be placed on a grooming schedule based on their lifestyle, temperament, comfort level, and the desired appearance. Most dogs will likely need grooming every **8 weeks or less.**
These changes will help us provide quicker, more efficient appointments and allow us to work with you when unexpected situations arise. Regular grooming will also ensure your dog remains comfortable, well-behaved, and in great shape.
