Well it’s definitely been much quieter around here without all the puppies, but that doesn’t mean we stop here on the “farm.” Planting season is beginning and new faces are becoming a permanent part of the family, too!

Meet Mocha & Molly! You might recognize them from our last litter - they’re huge and they aren’t even 1 yet!! These girls are the epitome of what we hope to see in the breeding size/markings and temperament of our Berners and we couldn’t be more thrilled to permanently add them to the family of Bauman Berners 🥰

GUYS!! What a week so far, and it’s only Wednesday! FIVE puppy home-goings this week mean that’s a wrap for this beautiful litter from our sweet Moxie girl!! We are SO incredibly blessed to have met each of you and so excited for your new family additions!! Even if we’re a little sad to lose all our squishy puppy snuggles 😭🥹🥰

We had THREE homegoings today!!! These are just always the best - it’s one of our favorite parts of being a breeder, not to mention the main reason for what we do 😉 congratulations to everyone and can’t wait to see pictures!!

Crystal is our first pup to go home!!! Her official name is Pepper, and it’s “Crystal” clear that she is going to be absolutely spoiled by .king93 and her cute crew!!! Thank you all for taking this pup as part of your family - we are thrilled for all of you!!

One. Week. Left….till our families pick us up!!!! We are so excited for the 6 families that will be getting their new furry family members in just about a week! These little pups are 7 weeks old and GROWING so fast! You might spy some grass/dirt stains from being outside enjoying all this beautiful spring weather 😅😉

It’s about time we did some introductions around here 😉 Meet our owners/breeders, Aaron and Carol Bauman! One the first things they would want you to know is they have 6 grown children, all married now and with 9 grandchildren!

Aaron and Carol began Bauman Berners on their small farm in Smithville, OH. A family with a lot of experience with farm animals (large and small), an interest in owning and raising Bernes Mountain Dogs was sparked as they researched the breed. After careful consideration, they decided to welcome one into their family. After getting their first Berner, Alaska, in February of 2013 the whole family of 8 fell in love with the personality and beauty of the breed. Alaska stole their hearts, and they knew they wanted to share the love they had experienced with other families! They began pursuing breeding in the fall of 2014, once Alaska was old enough to have her first litter. Over the years, the Baumans have welcomed other dogs into their family and seen the Bauman Berners “family” grow as they match puppies with their forever families!
