If you have received a dachshund from us there is typically an option for a microchip to be inserted before pickup. We have quite a few pups who don't have their chip registered yet that are already living the comfy life in their new homes. Their microchip number is DIFFERENT than their AKC number. Microchips are BLANK until registered.

*Microchips that we use are through www.AKCReunite.org and are 15 numbers long

No one ever plans on their pup wandering off and accidents happen everyday where they are being babysat and get out, chase a rabbit, a car accident happens and they take off, heaven forbid someone actually steals your pup. A microchip is just another precaution to help keep your pet safe. Dog or Cat.

There are 3 ways to register your dog's microchip.

1. With us here at the building when you pick up

2. Register their chip the same time as their AKC paperwork

3. Go to www.AKCReunite.org and do it online. You can also updated their info and picture here.
