Desperately trying to help this family!

911 Rescue Assistnace Needed:
I was contacted about this pregnant momma by a Good Samaritan over a month ago. Of course we did no have room for a whelping mom and that was the answer they got with every other rescue they contacted as well. This poor momma has been hanging around the husband's work and had now given birth to 4 puppies. They reached back out again today because they have done all the things to help this momma and her babies and keep being told NO!! This is not their pets, this is a stray momma who landed and the husbands job and they have been giving her food and water. They can't really get close enough to catch her nor do they have anywhere to take her if they do. You can only imagine they need help 911, as you can see the space this poor momma is raising her pups. They need help!! This momma needs help! These babies need help!!! I can not take puppies (who are now 5 weeks old and need to leave the property) without committed fosters. I do not have that right now. I need a fellow rescue to help them, help us help them. Please reach out to all the rescues you know and lets get these babies to safety!

We have had some really emotional adoptions lately and this is no exception. Remember Cindy and Max who were so scared at the shelter? I took a leap of faith and pulled these babies knowing it was going to be long term fosters. However, this wonderful family came along and Cindy's story (now Skye) didn't scare them away. They gave her the chance she needed and quickly fell in love. Although Cindy was honestly not the active/social dog they were looking for, they opened their home and hearts and quickly fell in love. They didn't care that she may never ride on a kayak as they had hoped, they instantly fell in love and have accepted her traits and are working with her so much to overcome her fears. Every week she comes around a bit more and learns to overcome. I could not be more happy that they found her to be a "keeper" and if this is not the most precious video ever then I don't know what is. I am happy to announce that Cindy has found her forever home. The home she has longed for, the home who will love her endlessly, the home who will give her all the things she needs. Go live your best life Cindy, we are so proud of you and happy you have a place to call your own.

After 431 days in rescue, Romeo finally has his forever family. I can not tell you how happy I am that he finally has a place to call his own. A huge thank you to his foster mom Wendy Russell (featured in last 2 pictures) who never gave up on him and provided a safe, loving environment for him. We have had Romeo since he was 5 days old. He was just waiting on the perfect family. We have no idea why some of these babies get stuck in rescue but I am thankful for amazing fosters and this post makes me so happy to write. I got to see Romeo last week to say my goodbyes!!! Go live you best life Romeo, you are so deserving and are going to have an amazing life.

We want to celebrate! We were able to place 40 pups in forever homes so far in 2025...4 months in, 40 pups adopted!!! Woot Woot!!! This is big news for our tiny but mighty rescue. We are honored to have been able to change these pups lives, many that were abandoned and tossed away like garbage. Thank you to all our adopters, fosters, and community for all you do to assist our mission.

5 month old Shepherd mix Lalita is waiting for a forever home. We are guessing she had a rough start at life. Her litter was dropped off at the shelter as babies dirty, skinny, and looking uncared for and in need of some TLC. We came to the rescue and brought the TLC with us! Announcing the arrival of our newest babies Tater and Tot!!!! Boxer/lab mix, 8 weeks old. These babies were surrendered to the shelter after mom passed just living outside on their own! There were 4 but when we got the request we did not have room but said if another rescue would commit to 2, we would take 2. So thankfully 2 rescues worked together to save these babies. Tater has a foster, but we are still needing a place for Tot!!! Welcome to the good life you sweet little babies!!!!

On 2.18.25 I went to the Lancaster County Animal Shelter to pull two small shep puppies that I barely had room for. I was told there was a single pup that had been there for weeks with no interest, so you know me I said "let me see him". Out comes Dex, so we all know what happened next. I put him in my car with no plan, no foster but I wasn't saying No!! Of course he came to my house and within a few weeks one of my amazing fosters Lynda stepped up to foster him for a short time. Well he stole her heart!!! We had some interest in him and she told me she felt this was meant to be her forever boy. We always give fosters that option when these little guys tug at our heart strings. I told her to take a few days to be sure. That very day (or maybe it was the next) Lynda was walking Dex home and stepped in a hole in the backyard and broke one ankle and sprained the other one. I immediately took Dex back and Lynda was heartbroken because everyone had thought about all the ways she could keep him but her health and healing was top priority and taking care of a puppy just wasn't in the cards at that time. She checked in on him almost every week and said if he wasn't adopted by mid April she would like to talk about it. Well guess what? He was just waiting on her to heal so he could go live his very best life. Congratulations Lynda, on such a wonderful boy!! We wish you many many years of great memories with your new best friend. Needless to say when she came to get him on her birthday this week, we both shed tears of happiness!!!! Thank you Lynda for all the pups you have fostered and for all your support. We are so happy you found your little guy! Dex, you hit the lottery and will have an amazing life.

Have you met Max? He’s one of those pups in need of love because we are pretty sure he didn’t come from the best place. He is a 1 year old mixed breed. We pulled him from the shelter and this is what they shared: He was owner surrendered to the shelter with not much info on his past. What we do know is he showed up VERY skinny, VERY scared, and VERY unloved. Over the number of months he has been with us he has warmed up and improved. He came out of his shell, he loves the dogs and kids he spends time with, and he loves to cuddle. He is a great boy who was let down by humans in his past. He is more than ready for a better life. He is ready to be VERY happy, VERY content, and VERY loved! Please share this boy!

Fosters needed ASAP!!! I can't commit unless I have commitments for these babies. Who can help these cuties who need busting out of the shelter. Owner surrender, mom is deceased and they have been living outside. Let's change their story.
