July 5th Pack Walk is at Fenton Park 11am (Route 14 / W. 3rd street & Williams Ave, Williamstown, WV 26187). The Walk is $40 for the entire summer (we end in November). This walk is for non-aggressive dogs only. We will sign you up when you show that day. Yes if you have 2 dogs and good control you may bring them both for the $40. This walk will help with socialization of the world and help your dog focus on you with distractions of other dogs. We will have trainers on site to assist and help during the walk. Keep checking here for weather cancelations and each month we will have a new location. This year we will be donating all funds collected to the Alzheimer Foundation when we walk with them in September.

🎶We're having a heat wave! 🎶 When temperatures are soaring, so are the dangers of overheating for our dogs. In some cases, extreme heat can be life-threatening. ⚠️

High temperatures can affect ALL dogs but be especially mindful of those with underlying health conditions and seniors.

The 4th of July is coming fast please call your vet now if you need anxiety meds for your dog, make sure your pets ID tags and microchips are updated and fences are secure.

We are starting the day with 0 kennels! 😢

We have 118 dogs in our care. We started the day with 1 dog kennel, which has just been filled with a stray dog in much need of our help.

If your dog is here as a stray, or if you’re missing your dogs, PLEASE call us or stop in. We want healthy dogs to be in their homes with their families!

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now is the time! We are running a special for adult dogs! $75 for dogs 6 months and up that have already been altered.

Not ready to adopt but have space to temporarily welcome a dog into your home, please consider fostering! We supply you with everything you’ll need. Fosters are truly our hero’s!
