Meet our newest Second Chances trainee… Van Gogh! 🎨👨‍🎨🌠

For those who are unfamiliar with Second Chances, Rock River Pet Resort has partnered with Cedar Bend Humane Society, Inc. to help give shelter dogs the training they need to make them adoptable to a wider range of people. We’re giving them Second Chances!

Van is a sweet and lovable boy who can make friends with anyone, human or dog! He is a quick learner and has already learned heel, sit, and place in his short time at the resort. In general, Van has a very laid back demeanor, but still occasionally gets possessed by the zoomies 🤭. We are so excited to show you more of Van and his beautiful personality!

Last week our Structured Maintenance groups played Tic tac toe, working on their sit and down durations as well as their recall💛💙 Here are just some of the rounds from the week. It was a close call, but Yellow team ended up winning by 1 point by the end of the week! 💛🐕😊

Congratulations to Dunkin (who is all smiles) on his graduation from Structured Daycare. He can now join the maintenance group. Dunkin did outstanding and went through the entire curriculum in less than a month. He gets an A+. 🎓🐕
