Pupdate: Norman (Oscar)

I had to tell you how proud of Norman I am. He is such a smart boy. I have been training him to blood trail but being so busy I'm not consistent. I figured I should throw a trail and test him quick before we really need him. Always trailed with hotdogs. Today I dripped the blood with not much of a hotdog and before I could get his trailing collar and lead on he pushed pasted me out the door. He knew exactly what time it was! He put his nose to the ground and RAN the new course all the way to the end in about 30 seconds. I still can't believe it. I can't wait to get a deer down and see what he can do.

Norman is owned by Rivers Edge Labradors in Blue Grass, Iowa. He will eventually also be a stud dog for them.

The walk tired them out.

Sometimes you have to set your busy schedule aside and take the kids—and yourself— for a walk.

Twinning. Clara LOVES her puppa dog. Honey tolerates her little human. Better now that Clara feeds her half of whatever she’s having for dinner. I’m predicting these two are gonna have all sorts of adventures in the future.

Bravo. He’s growing into such a handsome young man. Hard to believe six months has gone by already.
