Our Story

New England Animal Hospital has been serving the people of Central Maine for over 80 years. It is a small, family-owned business in Waterville that is dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to companion animals. Dr. Russell Danner, DVM, took over the practice in 2012 and has worked to better the practice through technology, communication, and education. The Hospital is also a dedicated member of the community, hosting fundraisers for area schools and providing care to animals at local shelters and non-profit rescues. We see companion animals like dogs and cats as well as exotics such as birds, reptiles, poultry and pocket pets.
