Hank is a 9 month old Akbash/Pyrenees/Heeler mix pup that needs a rescue foster or a forever home! He's 51lbs - fully vetted - and only searching for a home because he has decided chickens/birds at his current home are too much fun to leave alone.

He has been friends with the barn kitties and does well with other dogs. He has been around children, although doesn't live with any.

If you're interested in seeing if Hank is a good fit for your home, please send us a PM so we can put you in touch with his temporary safe spot.

If you're willing to foster for the rescue, we will provide all necessary supplies and cover vet expenses for Hank.

🎉 HAPPY TAILS: DAPHNE IS FEELING FREE IN WYOMING! 🐾🏔️

Remember Daphne, our long-legged beauty queen who was ready for her next chapter? Well, that chapter is off to a wonderful start! ❤️

Daphne has adjusted beautifully to her forever family and is loving life in Wyoming! 🌄 She’s enjoying walks, getting ready to show off her smarts in obedience classes, and discovering all the adventures her new life has to offer.

Of course, she’s also learning some very important things along the way…

Hey, nobody said the journey to becoming a confident adventure girl wouldn't have a few plot twists!

We're so happy Daphne is settling in, building confidence, and getting to experience the freedom, love, and security every dog deserves. From being abandoned and left alone to exploring the world with her forever family, her story has taken a beautiful turn. 💕

🚨🐾 IT'S GO TIME, WATERTOWN! LET'S FILL SOME HUNGRY BOWLS! 🐾🚨

Today kicks off our HUNGRY BOWL DOG FOOD DRIVE! 🎉

Our mission? Collect 2,500 POUNDS OF DOG FOOD for the dogs and puppies of Sarah's Treasures Rescue by December 31st!

Why 2,500 pounds?

Because at any given time, we're caring for 20–25 dogs and puppies. And those hungry mouths need feeding every single day! 🐶

Our pups live in foster homes, not kennels. They get cozy couches, family time, belly rubs, and all the love they deserve while waiting for their forever homes.

But keeping all those bowls full takes food... LOTS of food!

🐾 OUR 2027 GOALS: MORE TAILS. MORE SECOND CHANCES. ❤️

Every dog who comes through Sarah’s Treasures Rescue has a story. Some need a safe place to land. Some need time to heal. And every single one deserves the chance to find a family of their own.

As we look toward 2027, we're setting two goals to help us say YES to more dogs who need us.

🏡 GOAL #1: Find 4 new foster homes.

Because every foster home means another dog can have a soft place to land, a family to love them, and a chance to begin again.

🥣 GOAL #2: Collect 5,000 pounds of donated dog food throughout the year.

Because full bellies are part of rescue, too! Every bag donated helps stretch our resources so more of our funds can go toward veterinary care and the other needs of the dogs in our care.

We're a small, foster-home-based rescue. We don't have a shelter full of kennels. We have people who open their homes, supporters who open their hearts, and a community that makes second chances possible.

These aren't just numbers. They're opportunities to change lives. 🐶

🚨 HOW IS THIS HANDSOME BOY STILL AVAILABLE?! 😍💙

Meet Smudge, the 8–9 month old heartthrob with the most entertaining ears in the business! 🐾

👂 Both ears UP? Handsome!
👂 One up, one down? Silly!
👂 Both DOWN? WE CAN’T EVEN. 🤩😍

The best part? You never know which ear configuration you're getting! 😂

But Smudge is more than just a pretty face! He's smart, playful, great with other dogs, good with kids, and cat-friendly (though he'd prefer cats who want to play, too 😆).

He's learning his puppy manners, rocking his shiny new coat after overcoming mange, and ready to find the family he's been waiting for! 🏡
