Introducing Gantu! This handsome Four year old Catahoula has been at the JCSPCA longer than any other dog in recent years. Why? WE HAVE NO CLUE!!

Gantu has a big brain, lots of love to give and plenty of energy to spend on adventures He bonds closely with people through training and play. Gantu continues to train daily at the shelter and he works with multiple commands such as “sit”, “wait”, “off” and “center”. He has become proficient at the self-propelled dog treadmill (great for a winter day!) and would make an excellent fit for active families who want a dog that would climb mountains and more for them! 💛
Don’t let his intimidating stare fool you! Gantu loves being the center of attention, making him best suited as the only animal in a home. PERFECT for the person who wants to pour their heart into a single pet!
