Little Sunny has had quite a first week and a half with a few ups and downs, quite literarily. He has such long legs and had a hard time getting his balance in the beginning, so he took a lot of tumbles. The first day we had to pick him up and help him balance and walk a lot and also had to bottle feed him until he could get the hang of standing. After he started to stand, he remained very clumsy and took many tries to get up. One of his back legs ended up with quite a sore that had us very concerned. We took him to a wonderful vet clinic in Arthur, IL and he’s on a path to being 100%. He’ll need wound care for a month or so still but his bloodwork looked great for no infection and plenty of antibodies received from his mom’s colostrum. He feels great and is so playful and so sweet. His mom Star has been so patient and amazing with him and with us! 🐴💕
