Look what Callie can do….💙

This is Callie. She is trained to accurately detect bowel cancer in order to provide rapid diagnoses through non-invasive testing. Here she has been given multiple urine samples in a training exercise and has clearly identified the sample from a person with stage 1 bowel cancer. She even knows how to ignore other bowel conditions such as IBD, diverticulitis, and Crohn's disease. Some might call it lab work, but Callie is actually a sprocker spaniel. 14/10 incredible job, Callie (courtesy Medical Detection Dogs)

We are expecting wind chills near -40°. This is life-threatening weather for pets. Animals left outside — even with shelter — are at serious risk of hypothermia and frostbite.
• Bring ALL pets inside
• Hypothermia and frostbite can happen quickly

Every year, we receive dogs suffering from hypothermia after being left out in extreme cold. Some do not survive. 💔 We are urging our community to take this seriously.
