Tonight’s High Street Dog Walk was full of smiles, wagging tails, and generosity.
Every decorated treat bag is now filled with Waterford Pawtisserie treats and on its way to the shelter dogs — thank you for every donation and every bit of love you shared.

And meet Melvin, the star of the evening — a gentle sweetheart from the Erie Humane Society who’s looking for his forever home. He stole hearts tonight with his calm, loving nature. 💛🐶

Come down to Main Street in Waterford! Dog days of summer event. Local shops are eager to meet you and your pups. We’re here from 5-7:30. All donations go to the Erie Humane Society 🐶🐾🦴. We’re see up in front of Rustling Pages. Come decorate a treat bag and I’ll be filling them with our yummy treats for the shelter pups!

🐾 Join Waterford Pawtisserie at the High Street Dog Walk!

We will be set up at Rustling Pages as one of the community stops collecting donations for the Humane Society — and I’m bringing something extra fun with me!

When you bring a donation (cash, dog food, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc.), you can help decorate a treat bag for the shelter pups. We will fill each decorated bag with PAwtisserie treats, and a Humane Society representative will collect everything at the end of the event.

As a thank‑you for donating, you’ll also receive a treat sampler to take home for your own pup. It’s a sweet way to give back and get a little something for your furry friend too.

I’ll also have my homemade dog treats, plus tote bags, keychains, and charms available for purchase at my table.

A service dog isn’t just a companion—they’re a highly trained working partner dedicated to helping their handler live more safely and independently.

When you see a service dog wearing their vest, they’re on the job. The best way to support these incredible teams is to give them the space they need to work.

Remember:
✅ Ask before interacting.
✅ Speak to the handler—not the dog.
✅ Respect their working time.
🚫 Don’t pet, whistle, call to, or feed a working service dog.

Even a momentary distraction can interrupt an important task and put someone’s safety at risk.
