People Are texting and asking questions so here’s a small breakdown .
If you buy a 1300 pound steer he will yield approx 500 pounds of meat . This is once dressed/guts out and deboned .

So you are not going to have to worry about finding a place
For 1300 pounds of meat . lol You will have lots of quality ground beef, steaks and roast or whatever cuts you choose .

So if you paid 3000.00 for the steer you’re roughly paying 6.00 a pound for the quality meat averaged out .

These are some current sale prices at The Butcher Shop this week .

You DO NOT know how or what they were fed . This meat is not auction meat all mixed and ground up with many others .

So if you want to to buy from any of the fair kids they appreciate you helping them out . They have all worked hard to get their projects to this point .

Sale is Saturday @4 get ahold of me if you want to be a bidder /buyer . Find a friend or family member to split with help with the cost if you don’t want to put out that amount at once .

😀You do not have to be a business owner to come bid and buy also. Any individual can buy at this sale 😀

The all Black is Aspen my Granddaughter she was the Grand Champion and the other is Emma my other granddaughter. These 2 will be offered at the sale along with many other kids steers. Pigs, goats and sheep .

I’ve had numerous people asking me about farm raised beef. If you are interested, the fair sale will be next Saturday evening and there will be steers, hogs, sheep and goats available. These would all be drug-free and quality meat. This is also good for a business donation/ tax write off and it helps the kids . If you decide, you really don’t want one, but you would like to help support the children. They do an auction market buyback so they would pay you for your animal and you’re technically only responsible for the difference between the two prices.
You do not have to be a PA resident and also you don’t have to be present for the sale. You can call text and let us know how much you would like to spend on one what you would like done with it and we can take care of it for you without you being present .So if you have any questions and you would like information on how to get a buyer pass, dates and times let me know.
