💛 Female | Border Collie Mix Puppy

Shelly is a sweet and gentle Border Collie mix puppy looking for a family of her very own. While she can be a little shy around other dogs and isn't quite sure how to play with them yet, she absolutely loves people and enjoys getting attention from anyone willing to give it.

This adorable girl is still learning the ropes of puppy life and could use some continued work with potty training, but she's smart, eager to learn, and ready to blossom in the right home.

Shelly has a calm, gentle personality and would thrive with a patient family willing to help build her confidence and show her how wonderful life can be. With a little love and guidance, this sweet puppy is sure to grow into an amazing companion.

Ollie is a 5 year old neutered Border Collie mix. He is a great family dog, good with all kinds of people and pets. He is medium energy, he'd enjoy going to the park or on walks, but he also enjoys laying on the couch with his humans. He's a huge lovebug looking for the PAWfect family to love him!

Update: Returned home!

This handsome male standard poodle was found today near Spring Creek Trail in Watauga. He does have a chip and number on his collar but all numbers are disconnected. His collar has the name Argos on it.

He is currently safe and being cared for at Watauga Animal Services.

Ollie is a 5-year-old neutered male Border Collie mix searching for his forever family after being surrendered due to stressful life events within his previous home.

And honestly? This boy is an absolute joy. 💙

Ollie is reported to be an amazing family dog. He previously lived with a cat, spent time around other family dogs, and lived with children. He is a gentle soul who is just happy to be here and soak up all the love and attention he can get.

He absolutely loves walks, belly rubs (of course), and spending time with people. Ollie has such a sweet, calm personality and would make an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend.

He’s now looking for a fresh start and a family to call his own forever. Please help us find Ollie the loving home he deserves. 🐶💕

👑 Meet King 👑

King is a 14-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for a soft place to land and spend his golden years. While he may be a senior, this sweet old man still enjoys his daily 1-mile walks and taking in the world at his own pace. He is currently on medication to help ease the aches and pains that come with being an older gentleman.

Last Wednesday, King got all dolled up with a bath, ear cleaning, and a blow dry — and he absolutely loved the extra attention. 💙

As much as we deeply care for every animal in our shelter, this is not where a senior boy like King should spend his remaining years. He deserves a comfy bed, a loving family, and a quiet home where he can finally relax and be cherished.

King would thrive in either an adoptive home or a long-term foster placement. He was reportedly dog aggressive in a previous foster home, though no details were provided.

He truly is just the best old man, and we would love nothing more than to see him living out his senior years surrounded by love instead of kennel walls.

Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving. We are grateful for their courage, dedication, and service to our country.

Update: Both dogs were returned home!

🚨 URGENT - FOUND DOGS 🚨
Two dogs were found together at N Park Dr. and Whitley Rd. and are believed to be someone's beloved pets.

🐾 Brindle Male Dog
Unfortunately, one of the dogs was possibly struck by a vehicle, and we are working to ensure they receive the care they need.
These dogs appear to be well-cared-for and are very likely someone's missing pets. We would love to reunite them with their family as quickly as possible.
If you recognize these dogs or know who they belong to, please contact us immediately. Please share this post to help us get them home.
