🐾💙 KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc. proudly announces the graduation of Megan Seliger of Phoenix, Arizona, and her new service dog, Bon Jovi. Megan, a graduate student working toward becoming a licensed mental health counselor, says this partnership marks an exciting new chapter in her journey toward greater independence and well-being.

“I decided to apply to KSDS as it was the only ADI (Assistance Dogs International) accredited organization that truly fit my needs as a disabled person,” Megan shared. “Coming to KSDS to get my service dog was the best decision of my life.”

Bon Jovi is a successor service dog, joining Megan as her beloved former service dog enters a well-earned retirement. Over two weeks at the KSDS campus in Washington, Kansas, Megan trained closely with professional instructors, learning to work as a seamless team with Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi was lovingly raised by long-time puppy raiser Sheila Johnson of Grandview, Missouri, whose dedication and care helped prepare him for this important role.

So every Sunday Daisy has a "job" that she takes very seriously. When we get to church and to the ushers, they give her our bulletin to carry down two long hallways to our classroom.
