🤩 We just finished up our largest custom clothing order commissioned through Bayfield County Health Department. We’re grateful to have opportunities like these and work with amazing families and organizations.

We love working on adaptive clothing for customers because everyone deserves clothes that fit and work well for them.

This little girl has a rare skin condition that gets irritated by seams so we made all of these garments with the seams on the outside. ✂️

What a year! In 2025 we designed more of our own products, printed our own fabric patterns for Snow Sleeves and Neck Gaiters, and added new designs for tees, sweatshirts, tea towels and more!

Our sewing studio stayed busy repairing 2,117 garments, gear, canvas covers and more, keeping them out of landfills and back on adventures where they belong. We welcomed Emerson to the repair team, debuted a brand-new mural on our building, attended Birkie expo for the first time, and -most importantly- got to do it all alongside this incredible community.

Thanks for cheering us on, choosing repair, and supporting small. Onward to more making and mending in 2026!

Emerson brings sewing experience from his time at Frost River in Duluth, MN, along with a deep appreciation for well-made gear and the art of repair. SUNDAY, JANUARY 18TH! FREE LIFT TICKETS & NORDIC TRAIL PASSES!!!!!

On Sunday, January 18, Mt. Ashwabay will host a Free Lift Ticket & Nordic Trail Pass Day in loving memory of Harlow Pruess.

Harlow was just 20 years old and spent one of his final days doing what he loved most — snowboarding at Ashwabay and ice fishing. This day is about honoring that joy, the outdoors, and the way this mountain brings people together.

Recently, Harlow’s mother visited the hill and purchased day passes to quietly gift to strangers, simply to share her son’s love of being here. That spirit of generosity and community is what this day represents.

We invite everyone to join us on January 18 to ski, ride, or glide the trails in Harlow’s honor — to enjoy winter, connect with one another, and hold space for remembrance.
