Information from the Washington State Department of Transportation
Project Overview:
The Oregon Department of Transportation will begin work to repair and replace damaged bridge bearings on the US 101 Astoria-Megler Bridge. Bridge bearings are located between the driving surface and bridge supports and allow the bridge to flex and move safely in response to traffic, weather, and temperature changes.

The work will begin in mid-November and continue through early 2026

What to Expect:
• Daytime lane closures will occur Monday through Thursday, and until noon on Fridays.
• Traffic will be directed through a single lane, guided by flaggers.
• Travelers should expect delays and slower travel times through the work zone.

El Departamento de Transporte de Oregón comenzará las obras de reparación y reemplazo de los apoyos dañados del puente Astoria-Megler de la US 101.
